Natalie’s New Year’s Resolution Click to view sample project
To introduce students to New Year’s Resolutions, I read the book, Squirrel’s New Years Resolution by Pat Miller to explain what resolutions are. Then, we brainstormed resolutions for ourselves and the students each wrote their own. We did a construction paper art project and the students made their face and added a party hat for the New Year’s celebration. The students then wrote their resolutions in speech bubbles. Finally, they took pictures of their project on their iPads, imported the image into the app, Chatterpix, and recorded their resolution.
